Take one tablet daily.
Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water before a meal.
Do not crush or chew Treathay Tablets.

If you do not notice an improvement in your symptoms, or if your symptoms worsen, speak to your doctor.
If you forget to take Treathay when you should, take it as soon as you remember, unless it is near the time for your next dose. In that case, you should skip the missed dose and continue to take Treathay as you normally would.
Do not take more Treathay (fexofenadine) to make up for the missed dose.
If you or someone else accidentally takes more Treathay (fexofenadine) than you should, seek immediate medicine attention by going straight to your nearest accident and emergency department.
Taking too much Treathay (fexofenadine) may cause side effects including dizziness, drowsiness, fatigue and dry mouth.

Treathay may cause drowsiness in some people. If you experience any side effects that may impair your cognitive ability, such as drowsiness, dizziness or visual disturbances, do not drive or operate machinery until it is safe for you to do so.
Alcohol should be avoided while taking Treathay (fexofenadine) as it may exacerbate side effects such as drowsiness or dizziness.
Treathay (fexofenadine) does not affect hormonal contraceptives, including the combined contraceptive pill or the emergency pill.
Taking Treathay (fexofenadine) for a long period is unlikely to cause you harm. Treathay should only be taken for as long as needed.
It is safe to take Treathay with paracetamol or ibuprofen.
You may be able to take Treathay (fexofenadine) alongside other hay fever treatments, such as eye drops.
You should always speak to your doctor before using another hay fever treatment alongside Treathay.
