If you forget to take your daily dose of Jardiance, and it is more than 12 hours until your next dose, take your missed tablet. Take your next one at your usual time.
If it is less than 12 hours until your next dose, do not take your missed tablet and take your next tablet at the usual time.
Never take two tablets to make up for a missed dose.
If you take too much Jardiance, consult your doctor as soon as possible. Alternatively, call the NHS helpline on 111.

When taking Jardiance, you should moderate your alcohol consumption, as alcoholic drinks can raise your blood sugar.
Limiting the amount of alcohol you drink, and avoiding drinking on an empty stomach, can reduce your risk of hyperglycaemia.
When taking Jardiance you should be careful about operating or driving heavy machinery as low blood sugar levels can cause tiredness and a lack of concentration. Always speak to a healthcare professional if you are concerned.
Jardiance can cause weight loss as you are urinating glucose, which contain calories. If you notice any significant or unexplainable weight loss, consult your doctor for further advice.
