Cerumol Ear Drop Solution contains peanut oil and an antibacterial agent, which both help to loosen stubborn ear wax.
You apply Cerumol Ear Drops directly to your ears. It acts directly on the ear wax to loosen it up and remove it.
Cerumol Ear Drops are available over-the-counter. With Prescription Doctor, you can have ear drops delivered to your door via a fast and discreet delivery.
If your order is approved before 3pm on weekdays, we can dispatch your item the same day for a next-day delivery.
Some people get more ear wax build-up because they naturally produce more of it. Those who wear earplugs or earphones on a regular basis or insert cotton buds into the ears can also develop excessive ear wax.
Ear wax usually falls out by itself, most commonly during sleep. But anything that is put into the ear can potentially block the substance from leaving, and may even push ear wax further into the ear canal.
Excessive ear wax may lead to a temporary loss of hearing. It can also result in earache, itchiness, dizziness, ringing in the ears (Tinnitus) and even an ear infection.
The medicine works by loosening the ear wax that had built up inside the ear.
This makes it easier for ear wax to fall out naturally.
Cerumol Ear Drops start working within an hour.
However, you may find them most effective by applying the ear drops before bed.
This allows the ear drops to work overnight and clear any compacted ear wax.
Do not use Cerumol Ear Drops if you have an allergy to peanuts.
This medicine is for use in the ear only.
Prepare a small piece of cotton wool about the size of your thumbnail.
Lie on your bed or tilt your head to one side.
Using the provided dropper, insert 5 drops in the ear canal. You may notice a slight tingling feeling as the liquid goes into your ear.
Take your cotton pad and add a few drops of Cerumol or some petroleum jelly to it.
Place the cotton wool pad into the entrance to your ear. This helps to trap the ear drops in the ear canal.
After at least one hour, remove the pad.
Repeat the above steps for three days, or until symptoms completely disappear.
In most cases, the wax comes out by itself. If you find you still have wax remaining or need to use Cerumol ear drops for more than three days, contact your GP.
If you forget to use Cerumol Ear Drop Solution when you should, used it as soon as you remember. Do not use more of it to make up for the missed application.
If you apply too much of the Cerumol Ear Drop solution, simply wipe away any excess liquid from the outside of your ear.
The efficacy of Cerumol Ear Drop Solution is not affected by alcohol. But remember that drinking alcohol can exacerbate symptoms of excessive ear wax.
Cerumol Ear Drop Solution should not affect your ability to drive or operate machinery.
