HC45 Hydrocortisone Cream contains a corticosteroid called hydrocortisone. This mild steroid reduces itching, redness, irritation and inflammation for up to 12 hours.
The cream also moisturises the skin, and encourages healing.
It may take between 3 and 7 days of using HC45 Cream to relieve your symptoms. If your symptoms do not improve, or indeed become worse after these 7 days, stop using HC45 Cream and speak to a doctor or a pharmacist.
HC45 Hydrocortisone Cream is a smooth white cream that can be applied directly and sparingly to the inflamed areas of the skin once or twice a day.
Use a small amount and rub it gently into the affected area.
HC45 Hydrocortisone Cream should not be used for longer than 7 consecutive days. If there is no improvement to the skin after 7 days, stop using HC45 Cream and consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Do not apply HC45 Cream to broken or infected skin.
Always wash your hands after using HC45 Cream.

Never share your HC45 Cream with anybody else - even if they are experiencing the same symptoms or have been diagnosed with the same condition as you.
If you forget to use HC45 Hydrocortisone Cream, apply it as soon as you remember to. Do not use more HC45 Cream to make up for the missed dose.
If you regularly forget to apply the cream, you may want to set yourself an alarm to help you remember.
If you accidentally use too much HC45 Cream, wipe away the excess with a clean tissue and throw it away.
Yes, you can drink while using HC45 Hydrocortisone Cream. Avoid drinking more than 14 units of alcohol a week, as per the government's recommendation.
No, using HC45 Hydrocortisone Cream should not impact your ability to drive or operate heavy machinery.
No, you should not use HC45 Cream on your face. You should also avoid using it on your anus or genitals, on broken or infected skin, or on cold sores, acne or athlete's foot.
HC45 Hydrocortisone Cream should be stored out of the reach of children and away from direct sunlight. Do not continue to use HC45 Hydrocortisone Cream past the expiry date.
HC45 Hydrocortisone Cream is not known to react or interact with any other medications. However, you should discuss this with your doctor.
