Buy Voltarol Gel Online

Voltarol Gel is a topical anti-inflammatory that provides long-lasting relief from pain and inflammation. The gel, which is manufactured by GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), is available over the counter from pharmacies and some supermarkets.

You can order Voltarol Gel online from online services like Prescription doctor, and get it delivered to your door. Place your order before 3pm on weekdays, and our pharmacy can dispatch it the same day for a next-day delivery.

What is Voltarol Gel used for?

You can use Voltarol Gel to bring effective relief from:

  • Back, neck and shoulder pain
  • Common injuries (sprains and strains)
  • Joint pain (e.g. arthritis)
  • Muscle pain
  • Tendonitis (e.g. tennis elbow)

Unlike other pain relief gels which only give the sensation of warmth or cooling, Voltarol delivers a powerful anti-inflammatory deep into the skin.

With the help of Voltarol Gel, you can get back to doing the activities you love free from pain.

Voltarol gel is available in a variety of strengths for different kinds of pain.

  • Voltarol Back & Muscle Pain Relief (1.16%)

  • Voltarol 12-Hour Joint Pain Relief (2.32%)
  • Voltarol Joint & Back Pain Relief (2.32%)

If you are unsure which formulation of Voltarol Gel is right for you and the kind of pain you are experiencing, discuss them with a pharmacist.

Our medical team can discuss the differences between each formulation to help you find the best joint pain gel for you.

How Does Voltarol Gel Work?

Voltarol Gel contains diclofenac diethylammonium (Diclofenac Diethylamine).

Diclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that reduces pain and inflammation.

When Voltarol Gel is applied to the skin, the diclofenac is absorbed through the skin where it acts directly at the site of pain.

The Emulgel technology behind Voltarol Gel delivers a steady dose of diclofenac to bring all-day relief from pain.

The cooling effect of the gel, as well as the action of massaging the gel into the skin, provide additional pain relieving benefits.

How long does Voltarol Gel take to work?

You may need to use Voltarol consecutively for a couple of days in order for its effects to become noticeable.

How long does Voltarol Gel last?

The pain relieving effects of Voltarol Gel lasts for up to 12 hours.

How Do I Use Voltarol Gel?

Instructions on how to use Voltarol Gel can be found within the patient information leaflet provided with your medicine.

You can read the patient information leaflet for Voltarol 12-Hour Joint Pain Relief Gel online.

Voltarol Gel is applied topically to the skin.

You can apply Voltarol Gel up to twice a day (once in the morning and once in the evening) for all-day relief from pain and swelling.

Use the smallest amount needed to treat your pain.

Do not apply Voltarol Gel to broken or damaged skin as this can lead to irritation.

The usual amount you would use would be between 2g and 4g - these are approximately the size of a penny and a 2 pence piece, respectively.

Do not use Voltarol Gel more than 4 times a day. This is equivalent to 8 grams of gel.

Gently massage the gel into the area of pain. The massaging motion can also help to alleviate discomfort.

Wash your hands after applying Voltarol Gel, unless your hands are the site of pain that you are treating with the gel.

Do not use Voltarol Gel for longer than 14 days (2 weeks) unless your doctor has told you to.

If symptoms persist for longer than 7 days, consult your doctor.

What should I do if I forget to use Voltarol Gel when I should?

If you forget to apply Voltarol Gel when you should, apply it as soon as you remember and continue to use Voltarol Gel as you normally would.

Do not apply more Voltarol Gel to make up for a missed dose.

What should I do if I accidentally apply more Voltarol Gel than I should?

If you accidentally apply more Voltarol Gel than you should, wipe away the excess with a clean tissue and dispose of it in the bin.

Using more Voltarol Gel may not relieve your pain quicker, but may increase your risk of side effects. If you are unsure how much Voltarol Gel you are supposed to use, read the patient information leaflet or speak to a healthcare professional.
